“Dee greeted us at the reception and was so friendly and helpful. We were offered a shuttle bus into the centre of town whenever suited us and did just that. We enjoyed a great meal at the Holbrook Hotel and also a shuttle back. The room was clean, neatly renovated and had free WiFi. We took advantage of the EV wall box charger directly outside the room. We did have a few issues with it but Dee helped sort out the problem of the charge cable not unlocking from the post by turning the power off....

“No welcome or smile. I said my surname, he said my 1st name. Handed me key & pointed us to room. Told me to leave key in room on leaving. And that was the total amount of conversation. Very poor.”

“Pro: Clean and spacious Con: door lock chain missing and towel hanger broken that should be fixed easily. This is a kind feedback.”

“We stayed in Cedar Unit and feel the pricing was over the top given very dated interior. We were a couple so did not need 2nd bedroom however it is very small and with double on the floor and bunk over suggest not that user friendly. Very small TV with poor sound. That said main bedroom was comfortable. Maybe pay the extra for new units. Nice faculties and not crowded ”

“Our room was very clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable. Food in the hotel was good and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay there again.”

“Staff friendly. Room a bit dated but had all necessities. My family and i only stayed one night, and it was perfect for this. Also walking distance to the hotel for dinner and bakery for breakfast.”

“A great stay which was private and tranquil. It was exactly what was needed to reconnect and recharge. It was a bit surprising to have reception only in one tiny spot which was difficult and would have been helpful to know. Arriving and not being able to check in on a vulnerable family member from time to time did impact on the stay. If you want to completely disconnect from the world, it’s perfect. If you need reception and to be contactable, this stay isn’t ideal. ”
